Writing Retreat

The only real conflicts i have are GD stuff and Midsummer stuff. So can't do any Sundays, Thursdays or Tuesdays. And then i also can't do May 30-31 or June 6-7

I can't do before May 17th, and weekdays are bad, since I'll be working. Usually after five I'll be available.

And we should probably work around Jess' rehearsals for UK.
Jesska, if you could post your rehearsal schedule (tentatively) on the google calendar, it might be really helpful. Only do it if you think it's solid enough to post (I think you got it down)

Fridays and Saturdays are pretty much out for me (work). Most weekdays work best for me, and Sunday afternoons. However don't forget Underworld King rehearses Sunday-Thursday. But I don't mind moving my schedule around and not having a rehearsal a night if needed to do this. I'll get the rehearsal schedule up.. now.. (just times for now) so you guys can actually see it.

Is it possible to request off of work for a day? I know all jobs are different, so it may not be an option. We went for 2 days last year, did we want to do the same for this year?

I think the retreat is going to have to be in June or later because not everyone is going to be home in time, or have free time in May. We can certainly still have the bar-b-cue, which isn't too much of a commitment.

I can do weekends starting the third week of May. I might be going away sometime in late June for vacation, but besides that, weekends all look good.

Also, I think we should invite some associate artists who have an interest in joining the company, since the retreat counts as one of the three productions/readings/retreats towards getting membership. I was thinking Alyssa and Zak. Are there any other suggestions? If everyone's ok with that, I'll send them an e-mail inviting them to come.

Invite everybody!!! Including people who want to be a part of the company: including Victoria, Emily, and JONO and LAUREN!!! YARR!!!

Though I don't know if either Jono or Lauren have email...

I can't really request off work, since I'll only be working Friday and Saturdays and I'm going to be missing two weeks worth for Underworld King. But if it's over night, 2 days, whatever, Saturday to Sunday would work best for me. Or, Sunday afternoon. I know, I'm a real pain in the ass with this. ha.

So.. sometime in June then? Can we start throwing around dates? (Don't forget, staged reading is Friday, June 12th)

Oh and yes, invite Alyssa and Zak and any one else who is interested. It'd be great!

What if we went after the reading? Perhaps that Saturday and Sunday? It would give us a good chance to reflect on how things are going and where we've come from, yes? Also one reading will be done and we can discuss the next one (as well as work on some new stuff! I have a new play going and I'm DYING to get it read. )

What do we think? From June 13th to the 14th? Is it possible to get the same camping setup we got last time? That spot was really lovely. Or perhaps something even more secluded, so we don't have to worry about being quiet after dark, ya know?

God, I can't wait for this!

But besides that, my schedule is completely up in the air until around the first week of May. Then I can start committing to things and such.

Hey guys - as far as a location for this retreat,
I can offer up the house where (I believe most of you have been at, after prom or a party or some sort) for the weekend. I don't know if we wanted to keep with the whole camping thing, but I have plenty of open space (and woods, if we really wanna go there) to do such a thing. (and it's free!) But also, if we stayed at the house, it's entirely to ourselves and it's there's enough room for us all, and we can cook outside (and in) and if it's raining, we won't have to take cover in our cars ^_^
I believe we're looking at the 13th and 14th of June? Is that good for everyone? (The staged reading is on the 12th, we could do it after that as well to get it started).

Sounds good. I wouldn't mind starting the retreat friday though either, have the reading be a nice little outing?

Well I might be at work, but the place is empty so people can come down whenever. (But I'm praying I'll have off). It'll be all ready for everyone cause I'm holding rehearsals there anyway. But I'll know when it gets a bit closer. (PS, even though I still live in the middle of no where, it now only takes 25-30 minutes to get to me cause roads are finally open! I don't want that to scare any one away, lol).

I can't tell you how proud our company makes me, guys. Gosh, we're really going places.

Yeah. What time would you want to do Friday? I wouldn't be able to get down there till around seven, but people can certainly meet earlier than that.

Didn't you say you wanted it to start earlier on Friday? Then we'd all go to the reading together? Or.... since you can't be there til 7, just start it after the reading?

Right - I forgot the reading was on Friday. Yes, I'd say start it earlier if you want to on Friday, I just probably won't be able to get down till around 6:30
